Today, Pastor Chris Corrigan of Sligo Baptist Church in Silver Spring Maryland took us on a tour of our nations capitol, Washington D.C. This served a three-fold purpose: 1. It helped us gain an understanding of the people's hearts, 2. It allowed us to get to know the pastor a bit better, 3. It helped us unwind after a day of driving!
The city itself was wonderful. There is so much to see and do! And the food was terrific! We were able to distrube many Gospel tracts as we went through sights such as The Lincoln Memorial, The washington Monument, and The Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. Please pray for us, as the people's hearts are oft times cold toward Christianity.

Our first major stop was the Smithsonian. It's so sad that such an amazing place is so full of deception and lies.
This is George Washington's Ceremonial Sword. We saw it at the National History Museum along with hundreds of other amazing artifacts, like George Washington's Wooden Teeth. (Just kidding...)
I felt like Mr. Ylitalo would appreciate this artifact. All I can say is, "Dude!"
Praise God for Old Glory and what she stands for!
Here, we stand proudly before the Washington Monument. What a walk to get there. Whoo...Thanks for your prayers and we hope God blesses you as much as He has us!
